Circleâs bitcoin Android app has received an honourable mention at Googleâs I/O Conference.
The two-day event, which showcases the tech giantâs latest products, featured Circleâs app in its best-in-class category, which ârecognises excellence in applying material design in the creation of engaging user experiencesâ.
As the only bitcoin or financial application showcased, Circleâs offering was featured alongside notable applications including the New York Times â awarded for its elegant typography â and Tumblr, accoladed for its animation.
The bitcoin company first gave a sneak peek of its mobile apps at a CoinScrum meetup in London last September.
